Three Little Caterpillars by Hannah (Eagle Class)

Once upon a time there were three little caterpillars. They crossed the bridge and got to the end and Mr Crocodile came and didn't eat them, he said "Why are you trip trapping over my bridge", "Because we want to get some apples" said the little caterpillars.

"OK" said the crocodile "Go and get your apples" then the caterpillars turned into butterflies and they all lived happily ever after.

The Four Seasons by Louise (Hedgehog Class)

The four seasons are Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Spring is when bulbs come up, and when the birds make their nests. Summer is when the flowers come out and when the hedgehogs have their babies.My birthday is in Summer in June. Autumn is when the leaves fall down from the trees.In Autumn we see fireworks, and it's noisy. Hedgehogs fall in deep sleeps in Autumn. Winter is when it is Christmas, and Santa comes with lovely presents.It sometimes snows in winter and we see icicles on the trees and houses.

Once upon a time there were three goats who were very hungry. One goat crossed the bridge, but the troll didn't want anybody to go on the bridge. He said 'Who's that trip trapping on my bridge"

He jumped up because he was cross, very, very cross. He didn't like it. He ate the baby goat, then another goat tripp trapped on the bridge. The troll said 'Who's that trip trapping on my bridge".

The troll was very cross, he was a cross as he's ever been, he was really cross so said to the billy goat that he would eat him. So, the bigger goat tripp trapped over the bridge because he wanted some food. The troll was very cross, but didn't eat the big goat because he swept the goat into the river. Splash, splash

Molly the Mole by Megan (Mole Class)

Once upon a time there was a little mole called Molly who lived under the African plains! It is not very hot under the African plains thought Molly. "In a few weeks it will be Christmas" said Molly to herself. "I must get ready for Christmas" Molly murmured. So Molly went out to find some flowers. Next Molly went to the shops to buy a Christmas tree. Then she went to another shop to buy some Christmas decorations. She bought tinsel, baubles, lights, light saucers and last of all the star that went on the tree. Merry Christmas Molly. The end.

The Panda Slide by Jonnie (Squirrel Class)

Once there were some baby pandas living in a forest. A little girl brought a mysterious object to the forest. One brave little panda went to see what it was. He tried to climb up some steps but then he fell down the other side. He tried again and he did it. He walked in circles and told his friends to come up too. So they all climbed up. They all toppled over but luckily they all slid down the other side. So they called the object a slide and slid endlessly, and their Mum was laughing as she watched.

My Lego Chima Story by Joshua (Hedgehog Class)

There was once a special ball of fire and if the animals walked into it they became people, animal people.  One day there was a big change - two of the animal people became fire destroyers.  One was called Croc and the other Chima who was the king of all things.  Then an enemy with ice appeared, he could destroy fire.  One bird trained to be the best bird ever, he had fire diamonds all over him and his arm was made of fire.  The bird, Croc and Chima destroyed the enemy and they all got fire hands as a reward.

Crazy Star Wars Story by Jack (Hedgehog Class)

Once upon a time in a galaxy far away there was a millennium falcon. It had Luke Skywalker and Chewy and Han Solo inside. It was flying to fight the Death Star and fight Darth Vader. They were trying to get inside Darth Vaders Tie Fighter to blow up the Death Star. Luke dressed up as a Storm Trooper to trick them and got into the Tie Fighter. Luke pressed a button and The Death Star exploded with Darth Vader and all the Storm Troopers exploded too. The end.

Crocodile and the Lion by Thomas (Hedgehog Class)

Once upon a time there was a crocodile who lives in South Africa and he had so many teeth some of them would falled out but not so many.  The crocodile doesn’t let other animals go in a pool but lion can roar like a dinosaur and crocodile snaps his jaws a lot and sometimes he was in mischief.  The crocodile sometimes swims with his friend and sometimes he lets his friend go on his back but all the monkeys annoyed crocodile a lot and pulled his tail.  So lion kept on roaring until crocodile stopped snapping and he was nice but sometimes he’s a bit naughty.

Beavers Fun Day by Matthew (Fox Class)

A few weeks ago, I went to a Beavers fun day at Runways End. First we made campfires, by collecting little twigs, leaves and sticks. Then we roasted marshmallows, they were very yummy. Next, we were blindfolded and followed a string trail through the woods. After that we went rock climbing, we wore helmets and a safety belt, I climbed to the letter i. Then we had a packed lunch. We then went to build a flagpole as big as the trees. We used bamboo and elastic bands. Finally, we walked to archery, I was really good. I liked the Beavers fun day.

The Life of a 6 Year Old Gymnast by Alesha (Squirrel Class)

One day there was a little girl who lived with her Mum, Dad and two brothers.  One of her brothers did football and she went to gymnastics at the Leisure Centre.  She was really really good (or so her Mum says!).  She loved it so much so wanted to go to a professional gymnastics club.

She went to one recreational class, and the next day the Head Coach phoned her Mummy and said "would your little girl like to join our trials squad?"  The little girl shouted "YES" !

She was in this squad for one term, during this time she went on bar, beam, vault and floor.  She always does warm ups, lots of handstands, cartwheels, the splits and forward rolls.

Three months later she moved up into development squad 2, and then after only 5 weeks she moved up again into development 1.  Her first competition is approaching, she is nervous however, she is feeling more confident and even a little bit excited.

By joining a club she was also able to make lots of new friends.  You might even find friends from your school in your club.

'Amy and the loom bands' by Anna (Squirrel Class)

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Amy, she was a very kind girl and has a lovely dress every day.  In the 9th May her dress was amazing and she looked at her dress and she laughed when she saw her dress on Halloween.  She made a bike out of loom bands and made lots of big houses.  The next day she had lots of presents because it was her birthday and she got more from her mummy and daddy and big brother.  She was so happy and she got a ticket to go to Legoland for 9 sleeps and the next day 4 sleeps.  The next day it was book week and Amy wore her chicken costume and little chicken shoes.

'Acorn' by Evan (Hedgehog Class)

On Friday after school I went horse riding on Acorn.  I learnt how to do rising trot and sitting trot.  Acorn had an itch and kept scratching her leg.  She needs a hair cut.  Becks my teacher helped me to do around the world and thread the needle which are all saddle tricks. It is amazing fun.  My grandma came to watch me and thought I was fab.
